We can't wait to meet you! We welcome visitors every day, from 7am - sunset.

Walk the Trails

Explore 2.3 miles of shaded trails throughout our pristine native forest! Enjoy a jog, a stroll, or learn as you go by pausing to read plant identification and historical markers. Please refrain from picking flowers, but we encourage you to take photos!

Nature Store:
Shop local art & handicrafts

An assortment of local art and handicrafts are available for purchase at the Nature Store in Price Hall. You'll find bird houses, paintings, greeting cards, Christmas ornaments/decorations, t-shirts, 3D-printed critters, and so much more!

Field Trips

Open minds to the world of nature! We offer guided and self-guided field trips for groups of all ages, from infants to senior adults. Guided trips can be arranged around the theme/topic of your choosing.

We would love to help your troop work toward earning nature-related badges or complete community service hours! We also have special room rental rates for scout troops.

Homeschool

Does your homeschool group have a topic you would like to us to help you explore? Homeschool groups can meet at the Nature Center for guided or unguided field trips!

The multipurpose room in Price Hall is available to rent. Special homeschool pricing available.

Facility Rentals

The warm-wooded multipurpose room in Price Hall and the outdoor Amphitheater are available for for rent by guests and members to hold private events.

Price Hall: $50/hour ($150 minimum)

Amphitheater: $25/hour ($75 minimum)

Combined: $60/hour ($180 minimum)

Price Hall seats 40 guests or up to 100 standing. Tables (8), chairs (40) and use of the refrigerator are included. CCNC does not have kitchen/cooking facilities. A projector and screen are available to rent.

Rental time must included set up and take down/clean up. Guests are not to put holes in the walls when decorating. Trash generated by the event should be taken home by the renters. Parking on the grass, trails, or gardens is prohibited.
