Public Education Programs
Nature Nuts:

This is a monthly program for young kids and their grownups that explores a nature topic through stories, activities, and play! This lesson is free to the public, and always includes: story time, a craft, and a guided hike on the trails.
Come check out Nature Nuts the last Saturday of each month from
9:30am - 11:00am!
Please check our Google Event Calendar to make sure Nature Nuts is scheduled for the month you plan to come. Sometimes, other programs or events take the place of this program.

Trailblazers:
​​
This is a monthly program is for young adults and adults (ages 16+) with special needs. CCNC's president Sheila Williams teaches this program the first Thursday of every month from 12:30pm - 2:00pm.
Sheila is a retired Special Education educator from Clinton Public Schools, and Trailblazers is her passion.
Please contact CCNC if you or a loved one plans to come to Trailblazers at the Nature Center.
