At Clinton Community Nature Center, our community composting initiative has become a vital part of our mission to promote sustainability and environmental stewardship.

With over 50 families and businesses participating regularly, this program has not only reduced waste but has also provided rich, organic compost that will nourish our native plant beds and support our native plant nursery.

 

Beyond its environmental impact, the composting program serves as an educational tool for our community, teaching participants of all ages about waste reduction, the importance of healthy soils, and how small actions can create meaningful environmental change.
